⚖️

Economic Justice & Anti-Oligarchy

Economic justice means breaking the concentration of wealth and corporate power, ensuring fair labor standards, and providing affordable housing for all. This pillar focuses on creating a more equitable economy where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, and no one is left behind.

Key Principles

Break Concentration of Wealth & Corporate Power

Enforce strong antitrust laws to dismantle monopolies and prevent corporate dominance. Implement a progressive wealth tax on ultra-high-net-worth individuals and large corporations. Provide significant support for small, local businesses and worker-owned cooperatives.

Living Wage & Fair Labor Standards

Increase the federal minimum wage to a living wage level, indexed to inflation. Expand collective bargaining rights and protect union organizing efforts to ensure fair labor standards.

Affordable Housing for All

Allocate significant funding for universal affordable housing construction and preservation. Strengthen just-cause eviction protections and implement appropriate rent control measures where needed.

Non-Discriminatory Implementation

Ensure all economic policies are implemented without discrimination based on protected characteristics, monitored through equity audits.

AI & Worker Protections

Regulate AI-driven automation to prevent job displacement and ensure a just transition for workers. Implement retraining programs, wage guarantees, and relocation assistance for those affected by AI-driven changes in the labor market. Break up monopolistic control of AI technologies by large corporations to prevent further concentration of wealth and power.
